- Ah, another gentle nudge here. I also read your descriptions of the
- standards, and while I didn't understand all of the items in your
- summarized version, the majority of the standards that you were laughing at
- have very good reasons for existing, and as a matter of fact parallel many
- of the items contained in *our* coding standard.

- Without passing judgement at all on your knowledge or experience level, I
- suggest that it might be worth your while to re-examine your position. The
- wise man will recognize that when he begins to think "The whole world is
- wrong but me!", that usually (but not always) means that it is time for a
- little re-evaluation.

- I'm sure your standards could use some updating (those file-naming
- conventions are clearly outdated, for example), but there are also some
- very useful nuggets in there that you really SHOULD be following.
